I've proposed a big patch for a translation problem : BZ8942. It is based on a new coding rule : javascript translated strings must use double quotes : _("xxx"), never single quotes. See why in BZ discussion. If developpers agree, it should be added in wiki, in QA tools and automated test. I look for a go from community and a sign-off of patches.
