Many thanks for the offer - gratefully accepted. I've got 3.8 loaded in the sandbox at the moment, and could find time to try out the patches.
Paul, I posted four patches on report 6536. Also look at the dbrev mentioned in my last comment there. Please feel free to obsolete these patches whenever appropriate.. Marcel
