Hi Vitor, if you want to use your 3.8 files as base for the 3.10 translation, this is what you can do: 1) Copy the completed po files into the po directory of a latest 3.10.x installation 2) Run 'perl translate update <langcode>' from misc/translator. 3) Upload your updated files to Pootle. This should update your files and you can start translating. Naturally lots of new strings will be added and a lot of the translated strings will be fuzzy, but that’s what always happens so it’s fine. Hope that helps, Katrin From: koha-translate-bounces@lists.koha-community.org [mailto:koha-translate-bounces@lists.koha-community.org] On Behalf Of Vitor Fernandes Sent: Wednesday, January 02, 2013 5:55 PM To: koha-translate@lists.koha-community.org Subject: [Koha-translate] Koha 3.8 portuguese translation Hi there, It's with pleasure that I anounce to everyone that the portugues translations of 3.8 is now complete. You can check the progress of the portuguese translations in this link: http://200.16.16.190/pt/ My question now is the following: The difference between 3.8 and 3.10 should be some strings, but the most 3.8 translations can be used in 3.10. There is any way to use 3.8 translation in the 3.10? I'm admin of portuguese translations so maybe someone can tell me how to do this. Regards, Vitor Fernandes
