Copy of fr-FR into fr-CA
Hello, Now that Koha 3.6 is out, is it possible to copy the fr-FR translation files into fr-CA in translate.koha-community.org ? We would like to add French-Canadian specific modifications to the translations without affecting the fr-FR version. The old fr-CA po files can be overwritten, since they've been out of date since around version 3.2 . Thank you. Frédérick Capovilla --- Libéo

Hi, We needed a correct 3.6 fr-CA translation file on translate.koha-community.org before starting our translation modifications. All translation improvements we will do on our side will be added to translate.koha-community.org from now on. Thank you. There are some problems with the new files that were uploaded for fr-CA: - The OPAC translation file should be named fr-CA-i-opac-t-prog-v-3006000.po , not fr-FR-i-opac-t-prog-v-3006000.po - The staff file contains Windows line breaks, which causes "translate install" to fail. (Tested on Linux servers) - Multiple translations affecting XSL files contain " ". Those cause XSL parsing errors in Koha. This problem might also affect the fr-FR translations. We created new, corrected versions of the fr-CA .po files, but when we try to upload them in Pootle, nothing happens. It's not an issue. Files renaming has been done at 3.6 release. It will be reported to Pootle at next strings freeze.
