Translating using pootle
Hi Everyone I have updated all the opac files at http://pootle.workbuffer.org While I wait to finish the last bit of setting up the final home for translate.koha.org feel free to use pootle.workbuffer.org to work on translation. It's good to see that some people already are http://blog.bigballofwax.co.nz/2008/12/15/koha-localisation-for-301/ Chris

Ok next step We need volunteers to approve translations, currently when you suggest a translation it gets set as a suggestion, and it needs someone to approve it. We have someone willing to approve German (and hopefully some more will help her out). And someone for Croatian, The easiest way to do it, is to create a user in pootle, then discuss with the other translators of your language, and if you are all happy, then let me know the username (or usernames) and I will give them approval rights. I hope this is clear. Chris (Translation Manager)
HI again You can now use http://translate.koha.org (it now points to the same pootle site). So happy translating. Remember we need volunteers for approving translations. So far we have 1 for greek, 1 for croatian and 1 for german. Chris
Hi Chris, Thanks for setting up the new translation page. I found it much easier to use. :) A quick question. In the Hungarian translations. Although it seems that both intranet and opac file is up, as I click on the intranet, I can't see the strings. Do you have a moment to take a look? Thank you Agnes PS> I would like to volunteer for the Hungarian translation approvals. ________________________________ From: Chris Cormack <chris@bigballofwax.co.nz> To: koha-translate@lists.koha.org Sent: Monday, December 15, 2008 9:46:37 PM Subject: Re: [Koha-translate] Translating using pootle HI again You can now use http://translate.koha.org (it now points to the same pootle site).
