Hi Marcel, I think there is currently no way to contact another user – or at least none I am aware of. I would not remove them, because they will come back with your next translation update. You could mark those strings as fuzzy or just copy them from the English version. I think it would be very hard to get rid of them on Pootle, because it's hard to write a script that parses every bit of our templates correctly. After the switch to TT more %s were introduced into the po files. While this means you have to be more careful when translating, it also adds more context and less sentences are torn apart into smaller pieces. You can also carefully construct your sentences a bit different than the English version by moving the %s around a bit, but keeping them in same sequence. %s %s %s%s%s%s %s %s%s % Perhaps a missing s at the end of the string? I would not remove them, because they will come back with your next translation update. I will not do that in Pootle. But it is faster to do it locally with a script than manually correcting them in Pootle...
Perhaps a missing s at the end of the string? It is strange, but only in the error message, not in the po file.

Hi Marcel, I use Podedit for testing po files before releases. I locate the errors and search for the strings in Pootle to correct them there. I think you could also do it in Poedit and upload your corrected files. My thinking is, that this way you won't run into the same errors again and again. Hope that is helpful, Katrin

I think that it should be possible to see who is working on a translation (and even who changed or suggested a line change). As I understand it now, you can quite anonymously create an account and change existing translations without even being contacted by those who informally form the translation team of that language already. To improve translation and even to protect it (from unaware or malicious changes), it would be helpful to see at least an email address. Note that this email address is in the database, because you need to enter one to activate your login. Marcel

You can register yourself on Pootle. There is no validation. And you can start doing *suggestions*. You can't add/modify text, just do suggestions. After that, someone with admin permission on the language project can validate those suggestions.
