Hi all, We're planning to add a new language to Koha world nowadays and don't know where to start. Word by word translation is quite difficult and I wonder if there is any public database from other projects to get po files for other languages. Welcome any advise. Hi Mengü! Bernardo shared a script with me to copy the translated strings from one language to another. In my case, it was fr-FR to fr-CA. The languages are similar and only some terminology changes, so it was a great help to jump start the translation. Is the new language you want to introduce similar to one that is already in Koha? Hi Caroline, I'd like to know the script, if we cannot find from other resources I'd like to try this method at least. Hi Victor, I mean, if there is a public database for other open source projects (not only ILS can be different projects) using similar method as Koha translation, at least we may start with those file (numbers, some similar words will be same in the Koha, we may delete others) I hope I'm clear now.
