Does not seem correct. This looks like a list that can be generated by new
reserves. This may be a new table?

A new table is not required and could cause difficulty. 

If anything on the reserve shelf is needed, then the status of the hold can be
checked for consigned as you know.

Again, the main point of a report like this is to check patrons who *just* had
a reserve put on the reserve shelf either yesterday or perhaps in the morning.
Then the list is used to call / email patrons to inform them about the new hold
that can be picked up.

This report is in the mess of PHP I gave to Josh. It is working well, and
requires no other tables, just SQL and some logic.

reports will work for us in their current states in Koha3. 

I state this with urgency as it is a fairly important part of the reserve
process.

There is one additional short report which is reserves that must be taken off
the reserve shelf and checked back in. Either they will take a new reserve or
be put on a re-shelving cart. 

These 3 reports are going to be crucial for larger libraries. 
1. Daily pull lists (available only-used check out + status)
2. Daily call lists---who just went onto the reserve shelf today/yesterday
3. canceled reserve list, pull off from reserve shelf and check-in

Can you use my PHP scripts? I have not delved into the Koha 3 API's yet, but
since my reports are all read access on the database, could they be used and
modified slightly for Perl. Something is going to need to be done as the
reserves are really important. I know I have bellowed about other important
fixes before (item-type xxx - remember), and this will be almost up there with
that for soon to go-livers.
