Hi Irakli

For translations purposes it's more recommended to use utility

/usr/share/koha/misc/translator/translate

1) You maybe need 3-rd file ka-GE-pref.po

For creating this file (from
.../intranet-tmpl/prog/ka-GE/modules/admin/preferences) and other 2 (from
Georgian opac and intranet templates) run

cd /usr/share/koha/misc/translator
sudo KOHA_CONF=/etc/koha/koha-conf.xml PERL5LIB=/usr/share/koha/lib perl -I
/usr/share/koha/lib "./translate" create ka-GE

This 3 files will be located here:
/usr/share/koha/misc/translator/po

2) For Installing translation from po-files (stored in
/usr/share/koha/misc/translator/po ) to work Georgian templates use next

cd /usr/share/koha/misc/translator
sudo KOHA_CONF=/etc/koha/koha-conf.xml PERL5LIB=/usr/share/koha/lib perl -I
/usr/share/koha/lib "./translate" install ka-GE

3) If you want update exist Georgian po-files:

(For example this need for actualize yours old po-files to current installed
version of Koha.)
Please this run after execute "./translate install"

cd /usr/share/koha/misc/translator
sudo KOHA_CONF=/etc/koha/koha-conf.xml PERL5LIB=/usr/share/koha/lib perl -I
/usr/share/koha/lib "./translate" update ka-GE

This will grab all new terms from templates and add (or remove old) to
exists Georgian po-files in
/usr/share/koha/misc/translator/po

4) For creating new Georgian language section on
http://translate.koha-community.org/
please email to current Translation Manager
(http://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Roles_for_3.8)
He is Frédéric Demians (http://www.tamil.fr/u/fdemians.html)
Please tell him locale Georgian (ka-GE If I am not mistaken), maybe,
language native titte,
and necessary rights for Pootle (suggesting, translating, approving,
uploading files to Pootle, admin Pootle-users for Georgian section).

5) About translating MARC fields /subfields:

MARC fields/subfields descriptions and settings located in sql-files.
Actual versions for English Unimarc and Marc21 you may found in Koha Git:
http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=koha.git;a=tree;f=installer/data/mysql/en/marcflavour;h=dd8871f405d5da479d5d03680ed3badcdc0f9415;hb=HEAD

You need to translate these files to Georgia (possibly adapted to the local
mark-standards).
After the hard work of translation to sql-files:
a) Create Bug report about new Georgian sql-translation
b) Clone Koha Git-repozitory
c) Prepare patch
d) Attach patch to Bug
(See Koha Wiki: Version Control Using Git)
