Hi all, This might or might not apply to you... If one of your Z39.50 client portals is Macquarie University, please read the email below explaining the current outage. I will let you know when access is restored and the magic of copy cataloguing is available again from this library. I have reported this to IT but we might have to do some negotiations to get this setting changed. I will let you know a status when I have one. Apologies for this problem. Hi everyone These are the notes about the meeting held last week in Melbourne. It was good to see so many people and the dinner afterwards was very enjoyable. If you would like to see another, more readable version of the meeting try Emily McLeay’s blog During the meeting I mentioned the small library run by the Brotherhood of St Laurence to support carers of Dementia sufferer. It doesn't have many books, but it has lots of kits and games to encourage Dementia sufferers to communicate. The OPAC is at http://bslcdl.calyx.net.au . Dear all, Member libraries of Libraries Australia need to be set up for the "Record Import Service". Once you are logged in to the "Search" screen of LA with your library's LA account credentials, go to the "Administration" Tab and look in your Organisation Profile for the "Import" tab. Once you are set-up for the Record Import Service, click on Import to upload files created in Koha. More detailed information is available, please email me and I will send it to you. Introduction

Hi, I'm Irma Birchall from CALYX, a Koha support company in Sydney. (Let me assure you we will not be using this list to promote Calyx' services.) So far there are seventeen members of the list. This is only the second post, the first having been Siobhan's introduction back in August. I think the availability of the list needs wider promotion. We have included an item about it in our client newsletter that we issued yesterday. I'm also trying to have more relevant info added to the Koha-community.org website, but the person who does that is changing countries at the moment. :) What other ways do you think could we use to promote the koha-oz elist?
