Hi, I have translation on 3.4.0-opac side in Finnish. Is there any possibility to get it running on an installation somewhere? The basic file I worked on consisted of english and norweigian texts and it's also very difficult to see the whole of the result via Pootle. When you upload a file, you can choose to: - Overwrite the current file if it exists - Merge the file with the current file and turn conflicts into suggestions - Add all new translations as suggestions You really have to choose to overwrite, otherwise you will finish will a lot, and I mean a lot of suggestions. You have to find out where this complex string comes from. This can be tricky. This string has a comment: #. %1$s: errorloo.barcode #. %2$s: IF ( errorloo.ERR_BARCODE ) #. %3$s: END #. %4$s: IF ( errorloo.ERR_WTHDRAWN ) #. %5$s: END #. %6$s: IF ( errorloo.ERR_ONLOAN_RET ) #. %7$s: END #. %8$s: IF ( errorloo.ERR_ONLOAN_NOT_RET ) #. %9$s: END #: intranet-tmpl/prog/en/modules/tools/inventory.tt:46 #, c-format So if you want to contextualize the string, and understand exactly what it means, you have to go back to the template inventory.tt. On your installation of koha, open inventory.tt file and see what you have around line 46. Hi, My tip for translators ( that are doing full translations and not only collaborate using Pootle.) is to use Poedit (Linux) and put the templates directories in the same directory of the .po file, because in Poedit you could view for each entry that you are translating, the associate template file highlighting the line where it come from. As it is checked out, you should not have found it on your shelves during inventory. If you have found (and "barcoded" it), it means it's no more checked out, so Koha automatically made the check-in. "item was on loan. couldn't be returned" Umm. Uh. What does this mean? It is supposed to never happen but it's here just in case : the item was checked out, Koha tried the check-in (see before), and could not technically do the check-in.
