Examples of this are the circulation rules, slips and notices, overdue status triggers, etc. Some librarians would like the default view to be the library's rules, rather than the "all libraries" rules. The idea being that this would stop librarians from editing the "all libraries" rules by accident. Cheers, Irma! I won't be able to make it to the meeting as I'll be in Sydney, but I would love to hear how this goes. I'm especially curious to hear thoughts about "Koha and Libraries Australia Authority Control" and "Koha and RDA and MARC Frameworks". As the author of the Z39.50 search for authorities in Koha, I would love to know if people are using it and any ideas they might have for improvements. I'm also quite interested in how people use frameworks and how they'd like frameworks to work. Personally, I'm working a bit on better ways of keeping frameworks current (especially in terms of making sure MARC fields added by RDA are present). For the technically minded, I've created a bug report in the hopes of fostering some discussion about how to improve MARC Frameworks in Koha (http://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=12477) Happy to chat more directly with CALYX folk about this too! I'm copying Kathleen Fitzgerald into this email as well, as she's been interested in attending meetings with other Koha librarians in Melbourne. Perhaps someone would be willing to take some notes about the meeting and report back to the listserv for those of us who can't make it to the meeting? Koha Development Opportunity : Display of images in OPAC from multiple sources (Funding has been secured)

Dear Koha-OZ member, Recently, there was a call for community support to fund the development of a feature in Koha that needs improving. The funding was secured rapidly, work was started today and I am told "good progress is being made". I paste below the series of emails that show what can be achieved in a community like ours. Hi Del, For barcode labels and barcode readers check out the products and prices from http://www.allbarcodesaust.com.au/ The company I used to recommend for many years www.gripon.com seems to have become less responsive recently.
