When you set up your item types, there's a check box for 'Allow renewal'. If it's checked, the value gets entered as 1. If it's not, the value is 0. It seems that the script uses those values to determine the actual number of renewals. So, instead of a checkbox setting yes or no, it should be either a drop-down with number options, or even a text box for entering a number. But after saving, the branch code is truncated to 4 characters. The form should limit the branch code to 4 characters, not 5.
