Koha 3.0.1 user reported duplicate biblio records being created each time cataloging was done (creating new from Z39.50 search) in Internet Explorer. The duplicate records had adjacent biblionumbers, but whether the itemless record came first or second could not be reliably determined. Investigation showed that using Firefox did not produce this error. Initially, Internet Explorer threw up a "duplicate warning sign", then after the computer was upgraded, the sign went away and records were automatically duplicated. Fix what? I discovered that I had an error on holdingbranch in one framework. The while loop in checkmarc.pl loops through all frameworks. It increments $total but the next loop the error flag in the template is reset back to zero. Add a "last" statement after incrementing $total to resolve this bug in checkmarc.pl. The Notices (cgi-bin/koha/members/notices.pl?borrowernumber=1950) tab I assume should show a log of the overdue notices - but instead it's showing all messages and the text of the messages - which is way way way overkill. But it also selects records with "title LIKE %id%". If another ordered title contains that order number, it is also listed by orderreceive.pl. As a result, it is not possible to enter a receipt for the intended item.
