In Firefox 3 on both Mac and GNU/Linux, it seems to be 255. Can we remove them? See http://www.w3.org/TR/html401/interact/forms.html#adef-size-INPUT for their meanings. This limits the usefulness of some MARC fields. Can we use textareas for some inputs?
