If the form fields are only "readonly," the information is passed to the script. Is the data supposed to be passed to the script or not? At some point the template changed from displaying the guarantor information in a disabled form field called "guarantorinfo" to displaying it in contactname and contactfirstname. Previously, there were form fields in memberentry.pl for adding a contact name (contactname), phone (altphone), relation (altrelationship), and notes (altnotes). All of these but contactname have been removed from the database, and contactname now seems to be used as to store the guarantor's name. If a patron's account is expired, you can't check out. If a patron's card is /about/ to expire, you can.
