Renewal button does nothing that can be seen. This looks like a list that can be generated by new reserves. This may be a new table? A new table is not required and could cause difficulty. If anything on the reserve shelf is needed, then the status of the hold can be checked for consigned as you know. Again, the main point of a report like this is to check patrons who *just* had a reserve put on the reserve shelf either yesterday or perhaps in the morning. Then the list is used to call / email patrons to inform them about the new hold that can be picked up. This report is in the mess of PHP I gave to Josh. It is working well, and requires no other tables, just SQL and some logic. Neither the # Holds to pull # Holds awaiting pickup reports will work for us in their current states in Koha3. I state this with urgency as it is a fairly important part of the reserve process. There is one additional short report which is reserves that must be taken off the reserve shelf and checked back in. Either they will take a new reserve or be put on a re-shelving cart. These 3 reports are going to be crucial for larger libraries. 1. Daily pull lists (available only-used check out + status) 2. Daily call lists---who just went onto the reserve shelf today/yesterday 3. canceled reserve list, pull off from reserve shelf and check-in Can you use my PHP scripts? I have not delved into the Koha 3 API's yet, but since my reports are all read access on the database, could they be used and modified slightly for Perl. Something is going to need to be done as the reserves are really important. So default should at least be for "yesterday" (not today) to resolve that issue. Yeah, checked it for one date (Jan 1 2008) and it still locks up firefox. The logic needs to be put in for *available books only*. If for checked out this is a start, then check the usual status (available = 0) and (damaged = 0) to get that stuff. Josh has the code for this, it requires some looping and not just SQL. I gave some code to Josh F. for this from the group of utilities I wrote in PHP to deal with this. My code is specific in that it hard codes some of the cancel dates, but there is no reason the SQL and algorithm could not be taken from this report and put into the pendingreserves.pl I have my own test Koha3 going now and I can make modifications and all that. Does anyone want me to translate my code from PHP and alter this report? This report as it stands gives everything, even items that are not available on the shelf. Since this is a daily pull list, we ONLY should show the items that can be grabbed off the shelves. The checked out items and lost items are of no use, as are the items already on the hold shelf. Does anyone want my PHP. I may be able to get time to put this into the new Koha, but not in a few weeks. Also, my code does not work by branch, although it would be easy to modify it to use the "set branch" param. At least the default option should be for available.
