After a holiday is submitted, calculate the first day of the month in which that holiday falls (ex: 14 Jul 2008 -> 01 Jul 2008. 2. Return that date to the template (in the correct format, not sure what that is) 3. He suggested RSS feeds for the Virtual Shelves so that he could easily bring them into other applications like Drupal and Moodle.
