In particular I tried the Holds report - circ/pendingreserves.pl and got a timeout error Can we have this paginated? I'll bet it only displays in the MARC view * owen edits a record <owen> I see public note in the MARC view both in the staff client and the OPAC, but I don't see it anywhere else <nengard> right <owen> I don't know if there is a standard usage for that, but "public" certainly implies it should appear in the OPAC. <nengard> hehe - that's what I thought <nengard> and there isn't a standard use for it that I know of - not on item records <owen> And wasn't someone asking about an item "private" note? <nengard> so - that's one enh request for the my lists tab and one bug report for this public note thing? <nengard> owen - yes <nengard> we had a customer asking about that <owen> So what would you put in a public note? Creating a list in the staff client? <nengard> i should have written that in my notes - i think it was the opac <nengard> let me try again <nengard> okay - opac - here are my steps <nengard> 1 - search <nengard> 2 - click save to lists on a result <nengard> 3 - create new list <nengard> 4 click save <nengard> 5 - click lists button next to cart <nengard> 6 - my new public list isn't there <nengard> but it does show up here: koha/opac-shelves.pl?display=publicshelves <owen> Yeah, that's kind of a bug. The page with the lists button doesn't refresh, so it doesn't have the new list data to display <owen> ..since the list was added in a pop-up window. <nengard> yeah ... that makes sense <nengard> should I report this? or is it not fixable? <owen> I think it's fixable. Unfortunately there is no way to delete these batches. These records often show up when staff do cataloging searches and there is no way to get rid of the records unless they are added and then deleted. As well, once a batch has been imported, it should be possible to delete it from the list. Scrubber and Error feedback added. Note: we CANNOT rely on window.close in onSubmit or $().submit to close our popups. On a relatively slow connection with a relatively large POST, commonly the close finishes *before* the POST completes, as reported with our New Zealand clients. Despite success in trivial cases, this should be obvious, since the event is necessarily before the submission. It also assumes success and prevents any kind of error feedback, so we should avoid it even if it did work in all cases. We should close the popup on confirmation from the server, like ajax success or as implemented here in Template. Other Koha popups are likely to exhibit this same defective behavior.
