I am able to update the copynumber using moditem. For IE6, tables and select lists are layout-breakers: put either of them into a page's column and the width of the element will override the width of the column. In this case, we've got a table in one column and a select list in the other. Those two together just don't play nice. The subroutine BatchCommitBibRecords in ImportBatch.pm is not ignoring the records that have already been "imported". It reprocessing them.
