And there is no way to use it content to sort the list. It would be a very interesting feature for librarians to have the ability to sort the list of baskets by closing status (open/closed) and by closing date. It is hardly new. :) At least one library I know of wants this enhancement. Owen has explained that there is concern the feature could allow gaming of the holds queue. Maybe a way to control that could be discerned? Does that make sense? So if someone is not a superlibrarian they cannot give someone else permission to be a superlibrarian. I assume that it was intended to prevent users from gaming the holds system by placing holds on multiple copies at multiple locations in an attempt to improve chances of a fast delivery (perhaps branch A will get it first for me, perhaps branch B). Upon reflection, the reason we previously didn't consider the option of hiding menu options altogether was probably that the template couldn't handle the logic required to hide the whole "More" menu if no options were available. This patch adds Bootstrap tooltips to patron menu items with text explaining why they are disabled. To test, log in as a user who lacks permission to modify patrons or set permissions. Open a patron record in circulation or patrons. Hovering over renew, delete, and set permissions links (in the patron toolbar "More" menu) should trigger a tooltip with a brief explanation.
