I don't see anything in Jonathan's patch that blocks anything proposed by the accounts rewrite. It is now also possible to make partial payments, and pay multiple for multiple items with a single amount. Need is to allow printing of a receipt for all items that have been paid for at the time. For e.g. if a member pays for memberhsip renewal and for overdues on an item at the same time, the receipt should include details of both the renewal fee and the overdue fine. Receipt number needs to be autogenerated. That number is the ID for the vendor, but isn't helpful to most librarians since they don't assign that vendor ID. Could we show the name of the vendor instead? I'm not asking to change what's stored in the DB - the ID is best in this case for reporting, but just to change the display to the vendor name that matches that ID - kind of like we do with branches and item types and collection codes - etc. We don't show those codes, but the names instead. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
