When using basic http authentication at Intranet, if the loggedin username does not match a valid koha user, that also leads to a session with borrowernumber 0. At the top-right of the screen, I can see "insecure" in bold black. However, my "insecure" syspref is set to 0. Is this behavior normal? Steps to reproduce: To use basic http authentication at OPAC, create a .htaccess and a .htpasswd file in the 'opac' directory. I am trying to have separate information in the opaccredits sys pref for the mobile and the desktop views. I am doing this by giving the content unique id's and then using the appropriate css sys pref to hide or display the appropriate information. The purpose of the suggestion is to make koha more flexible as it regards Z39.50 targets' encoding. >From what I can see in http://search.cpan.org/~mirk/Net-Z3950-ZOOM/lib/ZOOM.pod, the calling application (koha in our case ?) has to set the encoding conversion, and ZOOM forwards it in turn to the called YAZ module (as per http://www.indexdata.com/yaz/doc/zoom.records.html) YAZ in turn is supposed to be "a wrapper for the library system call iconv. But YAZ' iconv utility also implements conversions on its own" (as per http://www.indexdata.com/yaz/doc/yaz.pdf and http://www.gnu.org/savannah-checkouts/gnu/libiconv/documentation/libiconv-1. 13/iconv.1.html). In other words, besides marc8, marc8s, marc8lossy, marc8lossless, utf8, iso8859-1, iso5426, iso5428:1984, advancegreek and danmarc, encodings that it natively supports, YAZ is supposed to be able to handle all the encodings supported by iconv. In debian at least, the list of encodings that YAZ supports (fully or partially) is enormous: iconv -l The following list contain all the coded character sets known. I understand that the list of koha-supported encodings is currently hard-coded in the koha code. My request is that it would be moved to a table in the db, pre-populated with the encodings mentioned above. The koha admin could then select one of the preset values when editing a Z39.50 target, OR enter an encoding string of his/her choice, that would be quoted/passed-on to the underlying layers. For example, I should be able to select "Windows-1253" or "ISO-8859-7", but I should also be able to enter "ISO 8859-7:2003", and koha would happily and simply use this as the string describing source encoding when constructing queries or receiving result sets. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
