Currently, videos and audios can be embedded in both the intranet and the OPAC, but not for PDF files. Uploading of files is already available in Koha ILS, so it will also be best that this feature be added to Koha ILS. Due dates of copies on loan include today, and various dates into the future, some many weeks ahead. When the auto-renewal job runs, Koha is sending an AUTO_RENEWAL email to ALL the users warning them ALL of renewal failure, using the [% ELSIF checkout.auto_renew_error == 'on_reserve' %] Desired functionality in 17.05: When the auto-renewal job runs, Koha should only send an AUTO_RENEWAL email to the user (or possibly users) whose copy is due back today, on the day the auto-renewal job runs. Other people who have copies on loan but which are not yet due back yet should not be contacted by the AUTO_RENEWAL email. Users contacted in this way are being very puzzled and confused. Could this be achieved by an edit to the condition in the template toolkit? So rather this: [% ELSIF checkout.auto_renew_error == 'on_reserve' %] This item has been reserved by another reader. … we have something like this: [% ELSIF checkout.auto_renew_error == 'on_reserve' && checkout.date_due %==today %] This item has been reserved by another reader. Then when the 1 person that has a hold on this item attempts to check it out, Koha will invoke the decreaseloanhighholds - although this hold is getting fulfilled. This system preference should only count holds that are not fulfilled instead of counting all the holds including the one that is getting checked out. However, if one clicks Pay Amount then members/paycollect.pl auto-populates the Collect From Patron field with an amount that is just total fines, not factoring in credits. In the description of the SIP2 protocol, this field is described as follows: "sort bin - CL - variable-length field. This field should contain a bin number that indicates how the items should be sorted. The maximum practical number of sort bins for a patron using 3M SelfCheck system is probably only 3 or 4, but many digits are allowed to accommodate some sort of fantastic sorting device using a hierarchical bin numbering scheme." I have a customer who wants to use this field to display messages on the screen of self service machines that tell users to put items in a separate bin based on itemtype, location etc. The idea is to add a syspref that can contain something like this: itemtype:ILL:1 location:CLOSEDSTACKS:2 - The first field is an item field. - The second field is a value to look for in the given item field - The third field is the value given to the CL field in the SIP2 Checkin Response if the value in the second field matches the item on hand. It should also be possible to set the CL field for items that need to be transferred after they have been returned, that is for items that are returned at another library than the homebranch. This will probably be another syspref.
