[Bug 21117] New: Highlighting of search terms in the 500 fields
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 25 Jul '18

25 Jul '18

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=21117 Bug ID: 21117 Summary: Highlighting of search terms in the 500 fields Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 17.11 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kelly(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When a search term is entered into Koha, it will search the Marc 5xx fields. This will retrieve the results where the search term is found in the 5xx fields. However, the highlighting does not appear when this term is found in the Marc 5xx fields. It would be nice to show the highlighting throughout the Koha record. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 13153] Waiting hold checked in at different library doesn't re-route item to correct library
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 24 Jul '18

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13153 Ed Veal <eveal(a)mckinneytexas.org> changed: What |Removed |Added ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- CC| |eveal(a)mckinneytexas.org --- Comment #22 from Ed Veal <eveal(a)mckinneytexas.org> --- My view on this bug is that it is appropriately marked as "low" since this issue should rarely arise. However, it has also been a long standing issue for many libraries, the bug was posted in 2014 so it is almost four years old. s a library managers we try very hard to get staff to not make mistakes but in the real world they happen. The problem here is when this issue does creep in it has a direct patron impact and makes the staff as well Koha look bad in the eyes of our patrons. Let's see if we can get some movement on this issue. Ed -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
