If the pref (AllowCheckoutNotes) is set to on, a patron can let a note from the OPAC and the message "Your note about $TITLE / has been saved and sent to the library." is display to the screen. While this gives an accurate indication of the current status of a request, it does not allow for any local variation in the displayed status, which can be limiting for the end user. This bug proposes adding the ability for the admin, via a syspref, to define a custom set of request statuses, which can be selected for display by the manager of an ILL request. These statuses work alongside the existing "workflow" status that an ILL request has and will, if selected, override *for display* the status of that request. This proposal will allow the ILL module to continue to strictly prescribe and manage the workflow of requests, but will also allow the end user some flexibility in the display of a given request's status -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. The authority is replaced if needed (005 are checked first). This is ok. 2) No authority is found in koha according to the -match criteria. The authority is inserted. This is also ok. 3) Multiple authorities have been found in koha according to the -match criteria. The authority is inserted. => Is this the expected behavior? As the -match criteria is used for deduping, the existing authorities are very likely to be already existing duplicates. Do we really want to add another one? The enhancement that will be built to fill this niche will display all new sysprefs created since the users previous version by comparing version numbers (old version and new one just installed), the site admin will be able to review and modify the system preferences. Additionally links to the release notes (and manual where applicable) will be provided.
