To reproduce: 1. Find and edit a bib record which has an 008 which differs from the default values for the MARC framework 2. Choose 008 helper 3. Add # in any position before the end of the field noting the current values of the data 4. Save record 5. Edit record and select 008 helper 6. For example, this service is actually used by EDS clients to display real-time item informations on EDS. Ebsco should not have access to the issues information, even if they are partially anonymised (only the firstname of the patron is sent) in 16.05 and maybe in the later versions of Koha. On editing an item type, we show the description - so there is some confusing mismatch there. Both should show the description.
