In Makefile the following line can be found > DESTDIR = If this line is deleted, the DESTDIR from the command-line is used as expected. (But I don't know if this is a good idea to do, beside that Makefile is generated.) This behaviour is bad for package-building of koha. Steps to reproduce: Just follow the normal install procedure (as normal user): > perl Makefile.PL --install_base /usr/share/koha --install_mode standard ... > make > DESTDIR=fancydir make install The following error should occur: > ERROR: Can't create '/etc/koha' > mkdir /etc/koha: Permission denied at ... For us, this type of functionality is used in authentication with our own workaround introduced in Bug 18137. Our own workaround no longer works if M::P::OpenAPI version >=1.17. To replicate bug: 1.) Log in to the intranet 2.) Perform a catalog search 3.) Select 2 or more results and add them to the cart 4.) Open the cart, select 2 or more of the cart items and select Place hold 5.) Enter a patron to place the holds for 6.) Note on the Hold details screen it displays record-level holds will be placed. There is no option to make an item-level selection. 7.) Click Place hold 8.) I tried a lot but every time it show the success message of check-in but still does not completely checked-in. In Circulation log book is being checked-in, but at patrons page and OPAC it still shows book has been checked out by patron. At staff login page when I try to see the book status it shows, book has been checked out as well as it is available.
