The array containing the targets is constructed then embedded in the page template and, since the string is enclosed in unescaped single apostrophes, things fall over. Now, actually fix the bug. The bug is caused by trying to URI (un)escape MARC::Record, binary data. For example, this service is actually used by EDS clients to display real-time item informations on EDS. Ebsco should not have access to the issues information, even if they are partially anonymised (only the firstname of the patron is sent) in 16.05 and maybe in the later versions of Koha. On editing an item type, we show the description - so there is some confusing mismatch there. Both should show the description.
