[Bug 24556] New: Option to toggle certain alerts on check in
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 31 Dec '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24556 Bug ID: 24556 Summary: Option to toggle certain alerts on check in Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Circulation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com, kyle.m.hall(a)gmail.com It would be great if libraries had the option to show certain alerts or not. Some libraries do not need to see any/all of the 'Not Check Out' or 'Local Use Recorded', or cart alerts. It pulls their attention unnecessarily to the alert. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 24555] New: POC Elasticsearch - Use boolean queries instead of full text queries
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 31 Dec '23

31 Dec '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24555 Bug ID: 24555 Summary: POC Elasticsearch - Use boolean queries instead of full text queries Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching - Elasticsearch Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: alex.arnaud(a)biblibre.com Here is a proof of concept for replacing current use of full text queries (with query_string) by boolean queries on biblio searches. Advantage: => No search craches with special character ( "!", ")" etc...) => Separate query context and filter context: - Search scores are not altered by facets, - Ability to use range filter (i.e for publication date facet) Also, this POC adds a button "ES query" in the search results header so you can see the query sent to ES. Code is not beautiful, there is no unit test, it's a POC. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

While no menu allows you to browse these pages, therefore such a display is not permanent. The idea would be to add a menu in these pages in order to target each type of tool or parameter. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
