https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=24973 Bug ID: 24973 Summary: Allow to localize and translate system preferences with new yaml based installer Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Installation and upgrade (web-based installer) Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Blocks: 24972 In the de-DE installer a sysprefs.sql file is used to make some changes to the system preferences for a smoother installation experience. The file can be found here: http://git.koha-community.org/gitweb/?p=koha.git;a=blob;f=installer/data/my… It's a mix of: - Translating prefs content (HTML prefs, they might go away to news sometime) - Localization settings (date format, currency format, time format) - Translating pref options (borrower titles and relationships) It would be great if there was a way to keep this kind of modifications when switching to the new yaml based installer files. In many libraries, Director of the institution want to see the list of suggested books by library users before placing order. He/she would suggest to remove books from list. This feature is useful to get the list of books for approval via OPAC and send to concerned authority before finalization. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
