It would be great if there were a batch feature that would allow you to place holds on multiple items, whether in the same record or not, with the option to specify identical or individual settings (notes, dates, etc) on the items in the batch. Basically, there needs to be something similar to batch item modification, where you can specify a list of barcodes, and the items will load, and you can specify global settings on the holds, or if you fill in something on a specific item, it will not take the global setting. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. I'm looking to do something much less ambitious. My current plan is to refactor C4::Auth, so that the functionality remains the same, but we're using testable re-usable objects. My goal is to start using Mojolicious controllers (Bug 28325) to make different AuthN/AuthZ calls, and then eventually replace all the existing CGI scripts (easier done for the OPAC than the staff interface), but maybe we'd need to change get_template_and_user to act as a shim too. As part of Bug 28325, I'm trying to create a Koha::Auth module that will hopefully just handle authentication and authorization. I feel like it's going to be slow going but useful. AuthN and AuthZ are passions of mine, so hopefully one day I'll iron things out a bit more...
