It looks like this is related to the size of the picture. I was using cropped screenshots, so nothing too high quality. Since they are not wrapped inside any HTML element it can be hard to customize with CSS/JS. Running the command: sudo koha-translate --list es-ES Shows the package. I tried to install it and even updated but it says it is already installed. sudo koha-translate --install es-ES Error: the selected language is already installed. Try --update if you want to re-install it. I tried removing it and then reinstalling it but made no difference. However, the language is not displaying under the system preferences > I18N/L10N > Language or OPACLanguages settings. This is extra confusing for users who have their username generated in the firstname.surname form. An exception will be raised if the methods are called without an instantiated object.
