It would be really helpful to be able to customize this to show only what the library needs. An extra bonus would be to add a separate column for this info, so that the first column is title, and the second is biblio info that is customizable. The goal is a better customer service because certain library departments will place holds to repair or replace a book when it is returned to the library (the internal library need has no rush), they only want the catch the book on it's return. The library needs to allow the patron who has it out have the flexibility to renew it on their account without a staff override. This functionality would be specific to the staffside only. - Add a Checkbox on the hold form that stipulates that the hold being placed is a 'non-priority' hold. - Add a field in the reserves tables to flag the hold as 'non-priority'. - The checkreserves module in Koha checks for this flag. To recreate: 1. Find a card with a guarantor, either patron or non-patron guarantor. 2. Duplicate the card. Note that it appears to be working on the card creation screen. 3. The description under this choice is 'Ignore means that the subfield does not display in the record editor' Which is true, but it doesn't mention that the subfield is completely removed from the record. This can cause data loss. If you're not aware of this, the 'Ignore' description is a bit misleading. I always instruct system administrators to use the 'Editor' checkbox if they do not want to see a particular subfield in the editor, and use only 'Ignore' if they really want to flush that subfield completely. I think the description could be improved to add that values will be deleted from the subfield as well.
