It would be helpful to create a dropdown box to allow the user to select which inactive budget they would like to view. Staff is more likely to want to look at last year’s budget than one from 5 years ago. As we move more OPAC content into news, "All" becomes increasingly problematic. Currently, a news item set to show in all locations is repeated in 7 places on the OPAC. I suggest we default to showing on the staff interface only. Only the timestamp on the item that moves is updated. It would incredibly useful if at least the timestamp on the biblio record the item is moving away from updates. This would be super helpful for making sure records in Aspen Discovery are being updated properly. You can test this by going to a bib record and adding an item. For example, it might be helpful to assign several servers to a Spanish group or a DVD group. Then when you are searching you could click on the server group name and the search would execute across all the servers in the group.
