After the upgrade this no longer works. The % wildcard appears to work in the search example above. However the % as a wildcard is odd when compared with how other search indexes work. Most major search engines use either an asterisk or a question mark. The same is true with searching indexes at Ancestry or Family Search. The asterisk replaces multiple characters and the question mark replaces a single character. Most of our staff is accustomed to using an asterisk and trying to adapt to a different nomenclature and keyboard position has proven difficult. Since the asterisk worked prior to 22.05, it would be nice to return that functionality. Also Lucas Gass reported: This also effects wildcard searches. Previously you could search for a cardnumber like '2913*' and that would return all patrons with cardnumbers starting with '2913'. However, there's no comparably simple way to pair two existing bibs. One needs to edit the child record to add the biblionumber, itemnumber, barcode, title, author, 001, and 260 from the parent record. That's a lot to copy over! In Item Holdings, change the enumeration from (example Koha predicted: V.50 NO.3), to V. 52 NO. 1 in the 952$h 4. Save this item. Koha will create the new item with the serial enumeration change (VOL. 52 NO.1) BUT also create a issue from the originally forcasted issue (V.50 NO.3). This originally forcasted issue V.50 NO.3 will ONLY appear under the Subscription Tab on the OPAC/Staff Interface, it does not appear in the Serials Module. This originally forecasted issue should not appear as received.
