[Bug 30860] New: Add option for CanBookBeReserved to return all item values
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 03 Aug '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30860 Bug ID: 30860 Summary: Add option for CanBookBeReserved to return all item values Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: nick(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com When placing a request we call CanBookBeReserved and loop items, calling CanItemBeReserved until we ifnd one that can fill a hold. We then loop CanItemBeReserved to check which items can be held. In some cases it would be nice to get the return values for all items passed back and avoid needing to call again -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 34474] New: OVERDUE_FINE_DESC shows title in parenthesis
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 03 Aug '23

03 Aug '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=34474 Bug ID: 34474 Summary: OVERDUE_FINE_DESC shows title in parenthesis Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Fines and fees Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Regardless of what is defined in OVERDUE_FINE_DESC, the title shows up at the end of the description in parenthesis. This is redundant if it is already defined. If this is meant to help retain some kind of link to the record, perhaps it should be turned into a button or link with the item number, so as not to repeat information. If this information is retained, even after item deletion, then maybe this needs to be explained in OVERDUE_FINE_DESC, so as to not repeat it. As is, I define everything we need to retain in the description into OVERDUE_FINE_DESC, but there is no indication of what is automatically added to the description, or any explanation as to what is retained. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 33873] New: ILL requests with linked biblio_id that no longer exists causes table to not render
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 03 Aug '23

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33873 Bug ID: 33873 Summary: ILL requests with linked biblio_id that no longer exists causes table to not render Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: ILL Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: pedro.amorim(a)ptfs-europe.com CC: jonathan.druart+koha(a)gmail.com, jonathan.field(a)ptfs-europe.com, katrin.fischer(a)bsz-bw.de, nick(a)bywatersolutions.com, pedro.amorim(a)ptfs-europe.com, tomascohen(a)gmail.com Depends on: 22440 We stumbled upon this on one of our upgrades. This is what I think happened: Because bug 22440 is also the one introducing cascade delete on biblio_id in illrequests table, in the past, when a biblio was deleted its id still remained in the biblio_id column of illrequests. This causes the API embed to respond with a biblio_id for the ILL request, but a null biblio (because it wasn't able to retrieve it, it doesn't exist).
