[Bug 11583] Add WYSIWYG editor for HTML notices/letters

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=11583 --- Comment #23 from David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> --- (In reply to Lisette Scheer from comment #22) > You can't resize the editing area. It will get loonger as you edit, but it > would be nice if it would at least keep the expanded size if you changed it > in non-html mode. Oh that's interesting! Right before I uploaded, I enabled the "autoresize" plugin. Without it, you can resize. I'll have to look into that. > In the html editor, I select this line and make it bold: > Dear [% borrower.firstname %] [% borrower.surname %], > then the Dear and the , show as bold, but not the TT placeholders. > When I look at the source code it isn't including them in the bolding: Yeah, I noticed that as well. Sometimes, it does include them, but usually it doesn't. If you edit in the source code, you can fix up the HTML, and it'll keep the fixed version. But yeah I'm not sure that there's a way around this one. Perhaps a hint/warning about that might be good? > If possible a hint text like "placeholders must be edited in source code > mode" so folks know they might need to switch would be helpful. Great idea! > It would be nice if it could know not to eat the whitespace without having > to add <pre></pre> tags. Alas, I don't think that's possible. I hunted and hunted, and TinyMCE's built in DOM tools get rid of the whitespace. I think part of the reason is that is as soon as you start using the WYSIWYG editor it'll be dynamically editing the DOM tree, so it does make sense for it to eat the whitespace. But it's still annoying :/. > Overall I think this is a step in the right direction for users interested > in a wysiwg! Thanks so much for your feedback! Last night, I was wondering if it might be good to have another checkbox to toggle the WYSIWYG on/off, because maybe you want to have an HTML email, and you have the WYSIWYG syspref turned on, but you don't want to use the editor for that particular notice? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 38511] New: Custom variables in custom slip templates
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Nov '24

21 Nov '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38511 Bug ID: 38511 Summary: Custom variables in custom slip templates Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Notices Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Now that we have the ability to create custom slips in Koha, I'm wondering if we could add some functionality where we could create a custom variable in the template, and when we go to print the slip, Koha would prompt for values for those variables. An example would be, we have a very simplified curbside slip we use, and before the slip prints, we might want to enter in parking information, or some notes, that would be included on the slip. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 26297] New: RestAPI : add a route to list patrons categories

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=26297 Bug ID: 26297 Summary: RestAPI : add a route to list patrons categories Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: REST API Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: arthur.suzuki(a)biblibre.com This is needed to implement self-registration in frontends softwares. Because POST to /api/v1/patrons need the category as a mandatory argument, we need a way to retrieve a list of the categories. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 30661] New: Able to update more hold parameters via REST API
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Nov '24

21 Nov '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=30661 Bug ID: 30661 Summary: Able to update more hold parameters via REST API Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: REST API Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: johanna.raisa(a)koha-suomi.fi CC: tomascohen(a)gmail.com If the holds edit endpoint is wanted to use more effectively then it needs more parameters than priority, pickup_library and suspend_until. Is there a plan for PUT action since it has acted as PATCH and is now deprecated? There definitely should be also a real PUT endpoint as documented here https://wiki.koha-community.org/wiki/Holds_endpoint_RFC, now the situation is quite misleading. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 11583] Add WYSIWYG editor for HTML notices/letters
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Nov '24

21 Nov '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=11583 --- Comment #22 from Lisette Scheer <lisette(a)bywatersolutions.com> --- Overall I like it! The things I've noticed so far: You can't resize the editing area. It will get loonger as you edit, but it would be nice if it would at least keep the expanded size if you changed it in non-html mode. In the html editor, I select this line and make it bold: Dear [% borrower.firstname %] [% borrower.surname %], then the Dear and the , show as bold, but not the TT placeholders. When I look at the source code it isn't including them in the bolding: <pre>Dear [% borrower.firstname %] [% borrower.surname %], <pre>Dear [% borrower.firstname %] [% borrower.surname %], If possible a hint text like "placeholders must be edited in source code mode" so folks know they might need to switch would be helpful. It would be nice if it could know not to eat the whitespace without having to add <pre></pre> tags. Overall I think this is a step in the right direction for users interested in a wysiwg! -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 37081] New: Add Order Confusing On acqui/addorderiso2709.pl page

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37081 Bug ID: 37081 Summary: Add Order Confusing On acqui/addorderiso2709.pl page Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Acquisitions Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kelly(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When staging or adding a new file to a basket in Acquisitions, on the acqui/addorderiso2709.pl? Next the items to select, there is an ADD ORDER button. At the bottom of the page there is a SAVE button. ADD ORDER does not add this item to the order, it starts a new blank order. I believe we should reword this button to say what it does, NEW ORDER instead. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.
