[Bug 38355] New: Remove ONLYMESSAGE from UpdateNotForLoanStatusOnCheckout documentation
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Nov '24

05 Nov '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38355 Bug ID: 38355 Summary: Remove ONLYMESSAGE from UpdateNotForLoanStatusOnCheckout documentation Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Documentation Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: anneli.osterman(a)koha-suomi.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: aude.charillon(a)ptfs-europe.com, philip.orr(a)lmscloud.de In the documentation of system preference UpdateNotForLoanStatusOnCheckout it says that you can use ONLYMESSAGE to show the description of the not for loan status. "This system preference can also be used to only display the not for loan status. To do so, enter ONLYMESSAGE on the right of the colon. For example -1: ONLYMESSAGE This will simply show the label for -1 without changing the status." This is not true because ONLYMESSAGE works only with system preference UpdateNotForLoanStatusOnCheckin. The incorrect info is at least in 23.11 and 24.05 manuals. https://koha-community.org/manual/24.05/en/html/circulationpreferences.html… (If you add ONLYMESSAGE to the UpdateNotForLoanStatusOnCheckout syspref, the notforloan status is removed from the item and the change is not recorded to action_logs when you checkout the item. No need to fix this but I added this info for the record.) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38353 Bug ID: 38353 Summary: DT - Possible hidden bugs caused by $.extend Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: normal Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: jonathan.druart(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Possible bugs could be hidden behind the use of $.extend when we merge DT's options. We are using (almost everywhere): $(selector).dataTable($.extend(true, {}, dataTablesDefaults, { But: var dataTablesDefaults = { "lengthMenu": [[10, 20, 50, 100, -1], [10, 20, 50, 100, __('All')]] }; var mine = {lengthMenu: [[1, 2, 5, 10], [1, 2, 5, 10]]}; $.extend(true, {}, dataTablesDefaults, mine); [ 1, 2, 5, 10, -1 ] See also bug 30397. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 36304] New: Update C4::Auth in_iprange function to work when Koha is hosted behind a cloudflare proxy

It does, however, add another header that we can use to check the actual origin of the client - HTTP_CF_CONNECTING_IP. This patch simply checks to see if this new header is present, indicating koha is behind the cloudflare poroxy, and uses it instead of REMOTE_ADDR to check if a client's IP address is in a valid range. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. For the fields 110, 710 this is not the case. Adding a q subfield manually while cataloging or permanently in the framework didn't do the trick either. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
