The slip would contain basic information about the item such as title, author and ISBN (to match item to slip) and then other information such as number of holds, branch for multi-branch systems, nonpublic note (we indicate things like NYTimes Best Seller here), and receipt date. Currently we scan the items when they come in and write things like holds and best seller on a slip of paper with the month of receipt on it. Hit 'Create' 5) Manage the request created just now: click the request id or 'manage request' button from the table 6) Click "Edit request" from the top actions toolbar 7) Input text in Patron ID e.g. 'asdasd'. Notice you get an unstyled plain text error: "The Patron ID you entered is invalid." Repeat the test plan, but now for the Bibliographic record ID, notice you get a different error but same styling issue exists. When you enabled AllowHoldPolicyOverride, you can forcing a hold, even when it is not authorized in the "Default holds policy by item type" rule table. Let me explain: when a hold is forced on an item whose itemtype has a holdallowed rule set to "not_allowed", if you return the item, the hold will not be detected. Similarly, when you perform a checkout, the pop-up indicating that a hold has been placed is not displayed.
