[Bug 29302] New: API DataTables Wrapper should allow picking match type by column
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 08 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=29302 Bug ID: 29302 Summary: API DataTables Wrapper should allow picking match type by column Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Architecture, internals, and plumbing Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Whilst trying to understand how the `criteria` functionality of the datatables wrapper works, I discovered that is only works at the options level (i.e all searchable fields have the same match criteria applied). We should be able to set the match criteria at the column level, for example you may want 'exact' match for fields that contain AV codes, or 'starts_with' one field and 'contains' for another. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 22890] New: Add a chronological changlog
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 08 Jul '24

08 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=22890 Bug ID: 22890 Summary: Add a chronological changlog Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: About Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: martin.renvoize(a)ptfs-europe.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Target Milestone: --- We have the history page and a contributors list, but we don't have a nice chronological changelog featuring bugs/enhancements and their release dates. The release notes are nicely polished now, but it would be great to have to record available within Koha itself to encourage librarians to read it and adopt new features. We can adopt allot of the tooling that's already there to produce the release notes to allow simple maintenance of such a page. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 37136] New: Google Books - catalog books using Google Books data
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 08 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=37136 Bug ID: 37136 Summary: Google Books - catalog books using Google Books data Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: critical Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: antian770(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl Our library was using (still is until we safely move everything over to Koha) a hosted software solution that allowed us to catalogue books by searching the ISBN using a goole books dropdown option. Google Books would almost always find a result. When we started using Koha now and started cataloging books using the Z39 search, it searches just Library of Congress (did we not set up google books and that IS an option?) and it finds just half of all books. Is there a way already now in the system for us to enable Google Books? I noticed people mentioned Google Books in bug fixes but that was for the OPAC side suggestions etc. I am talking about when cataloging, the ability to find a record and automatically populate all the fields. Please contact me directly on email if this feature already exists as I would like to start using it if it is there already. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 36701] New: Adjust hold confirmation to avoid showing empty div
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 05 Jul '24

05 Jul '24

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=36701 Bug ID: 36701 Summary: Adjust hold confirmation to avoid showing empty div Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: trivial Priority: P5 - low Component: Templates Assignee: emily.lamancusa(a)montgomerycountymd.gov Reporter: emily.lamancusa(a)montgomerycountymd.gov QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Depends on: 33174 Bug 33174 added a warning when cancelling multiple holds from request.pl, clearly indicating how many holds would be cancelled. The added div is empty when directly cancelling a single hold (by clicking the FA trash can icon next to it), so it makes sense to hide it in that case.
