[Bug 14907] Item search: call numbers in item search results are ordered alphabetically
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 22 Dec '25

22 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=14907 --- Comment #34 from David Cook <dcook(a)prosentient.com.au> --- (In reply to David Cook from comment #33) > I thought cn_sort was updated when an item is edited/changed or the touch > script is run, but it looks like that might not be the case. Actually it looks like the touch script has a special provision for updating cn_sort too. My bad... -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 41487] New: create appealing and customizable selections exportable as a widget
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Dec '25

21 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41487 Bug ID: 41487 Summary: create appealing and customizable selections exportable as a widget Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: mathsabypro(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org We should have a standard way (not a plugin) to create visually appealing and customizable selections (tables, carousels, etc.) from lists or saved searches, and display them on the OPAC, on staff interface, as well as outside Koha in the form of an HTML widget. Some other ILSs offer this feature... I never tried this plugin https://github.com/inLibro/koha-plugin-carrousel but maybe it could be a working base. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 41486] New: Complete item data should be displayed in catalogue/moredetail.pl
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 21 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41486 Bug ID: 41486 Summary: Complete item data should be displayed in catalogue/moredetail.pl Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: mathsabypro(a)gmail.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl catalogue/moredetail.pl displays data about the items of a record. But it does not display non standard data (customized 952 MARC21 or 995 UNIMARC subfields), and I am not sure it displays all standard data. The purpose of this page should be to display information that we do not want to display in the global table of items, so as not to overload it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 27254] New: Damaged items need more control over holds
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 19 Dec '25

19 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=27254 Bug ID: 27254 Summary: Damaged items need more control over holds Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Currently, NOT_LOAN is setup so that negative values will allow holds and positive values will not. DAMAGED does not have this functionality, to my knowledge. AllowHoldsOnDamagedItems gives you an ON/OFF setting for DAMAGED items. It would be great if we did away with AllowHoldsOnDamagedItems and instead DAMAGED would function the same as NOT_LOAN in terms of positive and negative values distinguishing whether or not the item can be put on hold. This way, a library can determine if a damaged item is a lost cause and change it to a damaged status that can't be held. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. [Bug 41485] New: Add ability to block self-checkout by patron category

This could be achieved by a circulation rule or system preference. Once a patron logs in for self-checkout, it would be nice to convey instructions to the patron on what to do next. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. These options would be useful to show on the normal biblio search results ('search the catalogue'). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
