[Bug 39162] New: SCO error messages when checking in are misleading
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Dec '25

04 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=39162 Bug ID: 39162 Summary: SCO error messages when checking in are misleading Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: trivial Priority: P5 - low Component: Self checkout Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: katariina.pohto(a)ouka.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org When checkin in an item that hasn't been checked out SCO gives the error message: "Item not checked in: please see circulation staff for assistance" which is misleading. One might think the item has been checked out and remains so. Also, there is usually no need to contact staff when returning an item that hasn't been actually checked out. This error messages seems to be a default check-in error message. It says the same when trying to return a non-existent barcode. Which is also misleading and should really say that the item doesn't exist. Would it be possible to differentiate the possible check-in errors and give better feedback to user? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 41380] New: Icons missing from Holds to Pull, Holds Queue, and Holds Awaiting Pickup when using Safari on iPad
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Dec '25

04 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=41380 Bug ID: 41380 Summary: Icons missing from Holds to Pull, Holds Queue, and Holds Awaiting Pickup when using Safari on iPad Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: Staff interface Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: Laura.escamilla(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com When accessing the staff interface on an iPad using Safari, the icons that appear above the tables on the following pages do not display: --Holds to Pull --Holds Queue --Holds Awaiting Pickup This includes the table settings / column visibility icon (DataTables controls). When the same pages are viewed in Safari on a desktop/laptop computer, the icons appear as expected. This appears to be specific to iPad Safari, possibly related to CSS viewport rules, icon font loading, or DataTables responsiveness. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 6473] Test bug for Git-bz ✔ ❤ ★
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 04 Dec '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=6473 --- Comment #430 from Tomás Cohen Arazi (tcohen) <tomascohen(a)gmail.com> --- Created attachment 190188 --> https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/attachment.cgi?id=190188&action=e… Bug 40989: Fix OAI-PMH tests for CGI.pm 4.68+ CGI.pm 4.68 (shipped with Debian 13/Trixie) changed the behavior of self_url() to include a trailing slash when there's no path component. This causes OAI-PMH tests to fail as they expect URLs without trailing slashes. This patch strips the trailing slash from both the requestURL field in OAI responses and the baseURL field in Identify responses to maintain compatibility across CGI.pm versions. Test plan: 1. Start a 'trixie' KTD: $ KOHA_IMAGE=main-trixie ktd --proxy --name trixie up -d $ ktd --name trixie --wait-ready 120 2. Run the tests: $ ktd --name trixie --shell k$ prove t/db_dependent/OAI/Server.t => FAIL: Tests fail! 3. Apply this patch 5. Repeat 2 6. Repeat 1-2 with a 'bookworm' image => SUCCESS: Tests pass too! 7. Sign off :-D -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
