The showelastic.pl page still uses "type" parameter that was deprecated in ES7 and removed in ES8: https://www.elastic.co/guide/en/elasticsearch/reference/6.0/removal-of-type… Bug 33353's patch already removed it in other places: https://github.com/Koha-Community/Koha/commit/24aab6b9c52cb9846653d34d5630c… But one place remained: https://github.com/Koha-Community/Koha/blob/d6314d32246a7e967e78f1427c338a3… This yields the following output in log: ``` [WARN] [Param] ** Unknown param (type) in (get) request. , called from sub Search::Elasticsearch::Role::Client::Direct::__ANON__ at /usr/share/koha/intranet/cgi-bin/catalogue/showelastic.pl line 61. ``` An exception is caught and user is redirected to 404 error page for all requests. Some of the upgrades ran just fine, while others stopped at 21.11.05.004: ... I know that our catalog has many many duplicate authority records, but it is very tedious trying to clean them up. It's also hard to search for them. It would be nice to be able to search for authority records the same way we search for MARC records, and be able to batch edit them the same way too. I have 191 MARC modification templates at this moment, and many of them are the same except for one detail, the genre. It would be so amazing if I could edit all adult fiction MARC modification templates at once, or all teen nonfiction templates at once, etc. There are probably things I'd apply to almost all of the templates if I had the option. If there's a change I really want to make, I end up editing just one genre, deleting the others, and then duplicating it to make the others again but with the new change. I envision being able to select any or all of my templates, creating a new action, and applying it all at once. Or being able to edit an action in one template, and apply the same change to other templates.
