[Bug 28970] New: Create runtime parameters on the fly
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 26 Sep '25

26 Sep '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=28970 Bug ID: 28970 Summary: Create runtime parameters on the fly Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Reports Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: george(a)nekls.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org I was just thinking how helpful it would be if we could create runtime parameters inside of a report. What I'm thinking is something like this WHERE biblio.title LIKE CONCAT("%", <<Title contains one of these words|["good", "box", "friend"]>>, "%") creating a drop-down that has the three options: free, good, box. Being able to create parameters would open up a lot of new options with writing reports. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

[Bug 40507] New: Dewey Decimal Guides
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 26 Sep '25

26 Sep '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=40507 Bug ID: 40507 Summary: Dewey Decimal Guides Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: unspecified Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Searching Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: cbrannon(a)cdalibrary.org QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org As I help patrons find general sections for what they are looking for in non-fiction, I am realizing that we could do something a little smarter in Koha. If I have a patron looking for a subject, I refer them to a Dewey Decimal Classification poster, but that poster is limited. When it is, I will show them how to search the subject, and then look at different entries to see where they generally land in the collection. I was thinking, wouldn't it be great if: 1) When you put in a search term, if the term is a classification, it would put in a bar across the top of the results that said something like: It looks like you are looking for: blah, and then give the Dewey number it is associated with. 2) Give a link in the side navigation menu where holds are so patrons could look up a list of classifications if they don't know an exact term. Kind of like the poster, but maybe more exhaustive. Thoughts? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

When adding guarantors to a patron, however, you can select these patrons. We should filter these patrons out by default. Koha does prevent the save, but we shouldn't be able to get into the situiation -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. You are watching all bug changes.

Choose some language other than English 2. Go to Acquisitions 3. Search for a vendor and choose one. 4. When on vendor page, choose dropdown-menu from "+New" 5. You see following options: "Basket"*, "Contract"* and "Vendor". The two first are always in English, though "Vendor" is translated". In Finnish Koha community, we couldn't find an untranslated phrase from Weblate for the begininning of the dropdown-menu. I also tested Admin Kuhn's demo Koha 25.05 at https://koha-community.org/demo/ They have English and German languages installed there, but these translations were missing from there, too. Can someone please add these terms to be translatable? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. You are the assignee for the bug.

[Bug 38518] New: Holdings table sorting by serial enumeration is not using published date anymore
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 26 Sep '25

26 Sep '25

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=38518 Bug ID: 38518 Summary: Holdings table sorting by serial enumeration is not using published date anymore Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: 24.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Cataloging Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: anni.rajala(a)turku.fi QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: m.de.rooy(a)rijksmuseum.nl Previously the sorting by serial enumeration in biblio's holdings table was using published date (see bug: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=13420) In version 24.05 sorting doesn't seem to be using the date anymore. Sorting is now done based on the string in "h - Serial Enumeration / chronology item" field, so e.g. after number "2024 : 1" comes "2024 : 10" and so on. Has this been changed by accident when we shifted to displaying items via REST API on holdings table? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
