Such URIs are stored in UNIMARC subfield 676$R (notice: uppercase 'r'). An example would be: 676 # # $a 248.4819 $c Orthodox Church--guides to Christian life $v 23 $R https://id.oclc.org/worldcat/ddc/E3C6vtHXW4B47QbmtQWxmmH3PQ For more information, please refer to the IFLA UNIMARC Authorities Format Manual (online edition) [2]. The OCLC Dewey Linked Data API ------------------------------ OCLC recently [3] started offering a Linked Data (LD) [4] API [5] that allows looking up DDC numbers to obtain unique URIs/URLs and Descriptions for a particular DDC number (or range). In addition to API searches, a smaller subset of the LD can also be browsed online in a hierarchical manner [6]. Reasoning behind this Bug report -------------------------------- We believe that Koha users who include DDC numbers in their authority cataloguing would benefit from an integration with the OCLC Dewey LD API that would allow them to easily lookup DDCs in exchange for LD URIs/URLs and Descriptions. To this end, we propose the addition of a new Authority Framework plugin for UNIMARC that will offer this functionality. This plugin builds on the groundwork laid by Bug 40308, in order to offer 1-click DDC lookups from within the Authorities cataloguing editor. Set RestrictionBlockRenewing to 'block' 1. Set up a patron for auto rewenal and then check something out to them. Make sure the patron has an email address and has messaging preferences set to receive auto renewals. 2. Now do something that would make an auto renewal fail. I placed the item from step 1 on hold for someone else. 2. Run the auto renewals cron ( perl /kohadevbox/koha/misc/cronjobs/automatic_renewals.pl -c -v ) 3. A notice should be generated telling the patron the thing cannot renew with the error code of `on_reserve`. ( good ) 4. Restrict the patron, doing this manually is fine. 5. Run the auto renewals cron again. 6. Another auto rewenal is sent tell the patron the thing cannot renew with the error code `restriction`. ( bad ) This is confusing. In a 24.11.x instance, this works (start up a local instance or use one of the demos): 1. Authorities > New authority > Topical term 2. Don't enter any information in any fields. 3. Click 'save'. 4. Note that fields such as 000 and 003 are auto-populated (not sure if that is the right term). In 25.05.00 or main, this no longer works: 1. Repeat steps 1 to 3. 2. This phrase is not in any translation file (that I could find). To recreate: 1. Go to Item search 2. Click 'Search' 3. Select one or more results --> In the bar at the top of the results there is a rectangle with "Items selected: N XClear" 4. Install another language (e.g. fr-CA) 4.1. For ktd, do the following commands ktd --shell gulp po:update --lang fr-CA Ctrl+D (exit shell) ktd --root --shell koha-translate --install fr-CA --dev kohadev koha-translate --update fr-CA --dev kohadev 4.2. Go to Administration > System preferences 4.3. Search for StaffInterfaceLanguages 4.4. Check fr-CA 4.5. Click 'Save all I18N/L10N preferences' 5.
