[Bug 42952] New: Public SRU with OPAC logic out-of-the-box

I think the reasoning previously has been that the z3950responder.pl and Zebra provide unfiltered access to the indexes. [Bug 42769] New: Add a SIP testing tool to the staff web interface
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 15 Oct '26

15 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=42769 Bug ID: 42769 Summary: Add a SIP testing tool to the staff web interface Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: Main Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: SIP2 Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: kyle(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Now that the SIP configuration is mostly in the staff interface, it would be very useful to have a tool not for testing SIP connectivity, but for checking the response value for the various custom template fields we have. I'm imagining a tab within the account editor ( for saved accounts ) where we can enter things like patron and item barcodes to test the generated response. It would be even better if we could wrap that in a transaction so it doesn't actually do anything, but I have the feeling that may prove infeasible. Such a testing tool would eliminate the need for someone to know the password for the SIP account in order to develop and test the various templates and options for that account. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 43817] New: Cancelling a transfer for a hold should have the option to revert transit status

Put an bib level record on hold 2. Check in one of the items on the record that needs to be transferred 3. Confirm hold and transfer 4. Go to Circ > Transfers to Receive and 'Cancel Transfer' 5. Go to Bib Record and note that item is still in transit Currently, Cancelling a transfer with a hold is a two part process: 1. "Revert the transit" from the bib record "holds" page 2. [Bug 33446] New: Revert transit status should have the option to cancel the item transfer as well
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 15 Oct '26

15 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=33446 Bug ID: 33446 Summary: Revert transit status should have the option to cancel the item transfer as well Change sponsored?: --- Product: Koha Version: master Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: enhancement Priority: P5 - low Component: Hold requests Assignee: koha-bugs(a)lists.koha-community.org Reporter: emily.lamancusa(a)montgomerycountymd.gov QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org CC: gmcharlt(a)gmail.com Currently, when a hold's transit status is reverted, the item remains in-transit until the transfer is completed by a check-in. This makes sense if the item actually is still in-transit, but there are other situations in which this transit status is incorrect and may not be easy to remove. For example, in our system, we have HoldsAutoFill enabled. Occasionally there are exceptions where we don't want a book to be put in transit for a hold, but instead to remain available at its home branch. If the staff member reverts the transit status on the hold, the item still shows as In Transit. But they can't check in the item to complete the transfer without causing the hold to trap again. In this situation, the book shouldn't be showing as In Transit, but there's no simple way to remove that status. It's several extra steps at best to manually cancel the transfer (and most of our staff don't know how to do this, as manual transfers are not a normal part of our workflow, so many items retain an incorrect "In transit" status indefinitely). When a hold's transit status is reverted by the sending librarian because they're not planning on sending the book for whatever reason, it would be great if they could revert the hold transit status and cancel the item transfer all in one step. This could be something as simple as a checkbox option or a drop-down, so that the user can choose between "Revert transit status" versus "Revert transit status and cancel item transfer". -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes. [Bug 43816] New: 'Self-renewal charge limit', 'Checkout charge limit', and noissuescharge don't block at the same threshold
by bugzilla-daemon＠bugs.koha-community.org 15 Oct '26

15 Oct '26

https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=43816 Bug ID: 43816 Summary: 'Self-renewal charge limit', 'Checkout charge limit', and noissuescharge don't block at the same threshold Initiative type: --- Sponsorship --- status: Product: Koha Version: 26.05 Hardware: All OS: All Status: NEW Severity: minor Priority: P5 - low Component: OPAC Assignee: oleonard(a)myacpl.org Reporter: sbrown(a)bywatersolutions.com QA Contact: testopia(a)bugs.koha-community.org Depends on: 26355 Target Milestone: --- With the new OPAC account self-renewal feature (bug 26355), patrons can be prevented from self-renewing if they owe more than a certain amount on their account. The amount is set by the following, in this order: 1) 'Self-renewal charge limit' in the Account expiry and self-renewal section of patron category settings - if blank, then 2) 'Checkout charge limit' in patron category settings - if blank, then 3) noissuescharge system preference However, patrons are blocked from self-renewal if they owe *equal to or greater than* the amount in 'Self-renewal charge limit', but only if *greater than* the amount in 'Checkout charge limit' and noissuescharge. This should be consistent so that they all either block at equal to or greater than the amount, or only when someone owes more than the amount set in any of the three. To recreate: -Create a $10 manual charge on a test patron's account -Set their account to expire tomorrow -Set their patron category to allow self-renewal with a 'Self-renewal availability period' of 5 -Set 'Self-renewal charge limit', 'Checkout charge limit', and noissuescharge to 10 -Log into the OPAC as the test patron, and note that there is no link to self-renew -Return to the patron category, and clear the value in 'Self-renewal charge limit' (leave 'Checkout charge limit' and noissuescharge at 10) -Return to the OPAC, refresh, and see that the link to self-renew appears -In the patron category, clear the value in 'Checkout charge limit' (leave noissuescharge at 10, and 'Self-renewal charge limit' blank) -In the OPAC, refresh again, and see that the link to self-renew is still available Referenced Bugs: https://bugs.koha-community.org/bugzilla3/show_bug.cgi?id=26355 [Bug 26355] Allow patron account renewals through the OPAC -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
