A search for 'encyclopedia' will bring up several reference items which shouldn't be reserveable. The detail page in the OPAC correctly hides the reserve button for these items. This is very useful when you're doing cataloging maintenance for a particular item you have in hand. Scanning the barcode is a fast and reliable way of brining up the correct record.
