Intranet is correct. The opac seach results page is not updated for 'avail' and 'checked-out' Intranet appears correct. Example (there are several REF items here - opac does not show) http://opac.smfpl.org/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=54825 There is one ref item here. Details pages does not show http://opac.smfpl.org/cgi-bin/koha/opac-detail.pl?biblionumber=85095 OPAC shows items (w/ copynumber present) as checked out no matter what. http://opac.smfpl.org/cgi-bin/koha/opac-search.pl?q=simpsons The details page is not an indexing issue. The incorrect ITYPEs are displayed. For example: The call numbers were BF1028, BF1029, BF103. The computer put them in this order by looking at the B, then the F, then the 1, etc. LC would order them BF103, BF1028, BF1029, looking at the numbers as one hundred three and one thousand twenty-eight. For example, if the number is set to 5, a patron can only place five holds in one day on titles with at least one item available. The patron can place additional holds on items that are currently checked out, and can place more on-shelf holds tomorrow. It adds a new messages table and allows either free text or pre-defined notes to be added to patron record (for either library staff or patron). For predefined notes, create (if necessary) authorized value BOR_NOTES and add entries (examples: "Bring driver's license next time you come to the library" or "You left your umbrella at the library" etc.). On Checkout tab of patron record, click Add A New Message. Select from pulldown whether it's intended for patron or library staff. You can either use the pulldown for a canned message or enter text in the field. Notes to library staff will show up on patron Checkout tab; notes to patron will show in OPAC. All of the lines after the point where the XSLT icons for material type etc. would display are in a much smaller font than normal for other titles. If I create even the briefest 007 for this record (ta in first two positions), the display goes back to normal. So I think there must be a mis-matched span or something around the section in MARC21slim2OPACResults.xsl that looks for and displays the type icons, but I haven't been able to spot it. First change is to copy the Search button from the bottom of the screen to up under the Keyword etc. search boxes, so someone doesn't have to scroll down for it. Either button will work. Second change is to reorder the entries in the search box pulldowns. I've rearranged the list so that Keyword, Title, Subject, Author are first in the list, as I did in the OPAC advanced search. I moved Barcode and Standard Number to next in the list to make them more visible to staff, and modified the description of Standard Number to Standard (biblio) Number because it's not clear that it means the biblio number. However, if it's on, then the My Messaging tab automatically shows in the OPAC. I've added a syspref opacmsgtab. If it is turned off, then the My Messaging tab will not show in the OPAC user account.
