This requires having Python as a build depdencency. That's the only reason Python is required, so it is an unnecessary dependency. Re-writing the script in Perl would fix that. Then dropping python and python-debian from the build dependencies would be possible. When you change the quantity by adding or deleting items aboce the price form after that, the price is not adjusted. Assuming that over a raw socket connection login will be the first message. Standard states that whether login or another mechanism is used is optional. (It is configurable on 3M units and most others). (If used login should be first but it can be spoofed in our implementation anyway) Use of login should be a configurable option. This means that things like zebra and other cron jobs don't work. There is often no other reason to open the bib record in the edit screen at that point, so it would save 2 mouse clicks plus the wait time while the bib saves itself, in addition to having to select an Item Type while adding the Item Record, if that subfield self-populated as it does whenever the bib record has been opened and saved. (Note that no actual editing of the bib record need happen; all that has to happen is that it be opened in the edit screen and then saved, it that happens then the 952 $c fills itself with whatever is in the bib record's 942 $c.)
